Playoff Scoring System: Net team total vs Net team total | Team A shoots 87 with a combined 10 HDCP * Team B shoots 96 with a combined 20 HDCP | Team B wins 76-77 | If the net totals were tied, all four players would report to the putting green and chip to a predetermined hole. The distance remaining to the hole is added up for the players for their respective teams. The team with the smaller distance wins. If the chip off is tied, the procedure will be repeated to a different hole on the putting green until a winner is determined.
Seeding: All of the teams will be seeded into the tournament based on regular season points earned. If two or more teams are tied, the tiebreaker will begin with week 1. The team that earned more points in week 1 will win the tie breaker. This will continue throughout the weeks until a winner is determined. If all of the weeks are equal, a coin flip will determine the winner.
Playoff format: 32 team, no elimination tournament. 2 of the teams in the tournament are "bye" teams. The two teams playing the "bye" teams will play each other that week. The winner will win $10.00. The scores during that match will count for handicap. Regardless of the outcome, both teams will advance as winners in the tournament.
Here is a screenshot of the final rankings page. You can see how the tiebreakers were applied for teams with the same amount of points. Starting at week 1, the team with the most points scored was ranked higher. If that week was tied, I went to week 2, then 3 and so on until there was a tiebreaker.
